M&M surges 2.4 per cent

The stock gained 2.4 per cent to Rs 1,178.15, a lifetime high, after the company announced more than 100 per cent growth in its domestic auto sales for the month of December 2009. The company announced the launch of the Maxximo, the world’s first mini truck, powered by a 2-cylinder CRD engine with DDHC technology and 4 valves per cylinder.
