Pantaloon Retail Q3 net up 51% at Rs 51 cr

It also reported an increase of 25.38 per cent in its net sales for the quarter ended December 31, 2009, at Rs 1,912.84 crore against Rs 1,525.68 crore during the year-ago period. During the quarter, paid up equity share capital (including Class B Shares) increased from Rs 38,06,41,346 to Rs 41,22,85,746 on account of allotment of 1,58,22,200 equity shares of face value of Rs 2 each at a premium of Rs 314 per share to Qualified Institutional Investors, the statement added.
